Here is some important information that will help us ensure that you receive the best possible service and care: Scheduling Appointments We are here to personally assist you with your medical care. Please call our office in advance to schedule all appointments. We are happy to accommodate same-day or next-day appointments when needed.  Annual Wellness Services and Physical Exam Appointments We recommend that you schedule your annual wellness services with your yearly physical. The number of wellness appointments available each day is limited in order to accommodate patients with routine and urgent medical needs. The extensive MDVIP wellness program is completed in two visits. The first visit will consist of lab draws and numerous health assessments performed by my staff. About 10–14 days later, we will complete your wellness services along with your annual physical, and we’ll discuss your lab results, health progress and wellness goals. Cancellations We realize your schedule may change unexpectedly. If you need to postpone your appointment, kindly notify us as soon as possible, preferably 24 hours in advance. On Call 24/7 I am available to you whenever medical care is required. During regular business hours, please call the office. If the office is closed, call our main number and my personal answering service will direct the call to me. You may also e-mail me anytime, but note that I may not be able to respond immediately to an email message. Emergency Calls Always call 911 first for any true medical emergency - then call me. Vacation Calls When I am on vacation, there will be another highly qualified affiliated physician available to attend to you by calling our main number. If needed, I will be available to consult with the covering physician. Prescription Refills and Messages Every effort will be made to return all phone messages and refill requests the same day they are received. When You Travel If you are traveling and have a true medical emergency, call 911 first. Then contact me so that I can provide appropriate information to emergency care personnel and coordinate your urgent care with a local MDVIP-affiliated physician, when applicable. For non-emergency matters, please call me first so we can determine the best course of medical care for you. Hospitalizations Keeping you healthy and out of the hospital is a priority for me. However, if you believe that you need to be hospitalized or need to go to the emergency room, I would like to know as soon as possible so I can coordinate your care.
